FOR OPEN PANEL PROPONENTS: HOW TO REVIEW THE PROPOSALSReviews deadline: April 18th, 2025Open panel proponents will receive an email with the link to the evaluation platform and the login credentials. Please note that the credentials to access the reviewer platform are different from the ones used for the submission of your panel proposal. If you haven’t received the email by January 16th, 8:00am CET, please reach out to euare.bo@gmail.com. Paper proposals submitted by scholars interested in your open panel will be uploaded bi-weekly to the review platform.As an open panel proponent, you are responsible for accepting or rejecting the paper proposals received by April 18th, 2025. After this date, the papers that haven’t been reviewed will be automatically rejected.REVIEW PROCEDURELog in the Reviewer platform with the credentials received by email.Click on an abstract to see the paper’s information and read its abstract.Select an evaluation (Accepted/Rejected) and save it. In case of rejection from one of the open panel proponents, the system will mark the paper as rejected.*Go back to the abstract list to continue reviewing papers. *In case there are more than one open panel proponents (reviewers), we suggest having only one person responsible for paper evaluations to avoid clashes. Please note that open panel proponents are responsible for all communications with the paper proponent. His/Her email will be displayed in the paper information. If you’re interested in the proposal, want to ask them to submit a different abstract, or need to discuss the panel organization, it will be your responsibility to contact them. Automatic acceptance/rejection notification emails to paper proponents will be sent on the following dates:– Jan 30th, 2025- Feb 27th, 2025- March 27th, 2025- April 22nd, 2025 You may expect to see the accepted papers added to your panel after these dates. |

| PIAZZA GRANDE AWARD 2025 We are pleased to announce that the applications for the fourth edition of the Piazza Grande Religion Journalism Award are now open. The prize, first launched in 2019 by the International Association of Religion Journalists (IARJ) with the support of Fondazione per le Scienze Religiose Giovanni XXIII (FSCIRE), is aimed at honouring and promoting the work of journalists covering religion and spirituality in both mainstream and confessional media that publish regularly in Europe and the countries surrounding the Mediterranean basin.Besides the prizes of € 1,200, € 500 and € 250 and a certificate, in this fourth edition, IARJ and EuARe will award each winner with a € 500 travel stipend to travel to Vienna, Austria, for the presentation event, in July 2025.Deadline: Entries may be submitted as late as March 31, 2025 – 11:00 am GMT.Click here for more information. |
