About
The Scripture&Theology Forum is an interdisciplinary, international and interconfessional platform for discussing the interrelationship between Biblical Studies and Systematic Theology. Everyone is invited to contribute to our meetings. For presentations and publications we follow a strict peer-review scheme.
The platform was incepted in 2018 during the conference of the European Academy of Religion (EuARe). Since then, annual panels have been held as part of the EuARe in various locations: Bologna (2019), online (2020), Münster (2021), Bologna (2022), St Andrews (2023), Palermo (2024), and Vienna (2025). In 2026, we will meet in Rome and, for the first time, also at EABS (Leuven).
Several volumes and special issues have been produced and are currently in production (see projects). Our focus is on presentations, publications, and fostering interaction and community among the participants.
