We would like to inform all participants of a recent phishing attempt involving fraudulent travel reservation emails sent to members of our community.
These messages, often sent from addresses such as “Global Travel” or similar providers, request personal information and offer to arrange accommodation for the upcoming conference. Please note that these emails are not affiliated with the European Academy of Religion (EuARe).
We strongly advise all participants:
- Do not respond to such messages.
- Do not share personal or payment information with unknown contacts.
- Verify any travel or accommodation arrangements exclusively through official EuARe communication channels.
